This online database includes thousands of questions and answers about CBX and is a very popular resource among clients seeking to learn more about CBX. Each time a Client Services team member receives a client question, they document the answer in AnswerBook.
CBX Reference Materials

Booklets on various CBX-related topics and is an excellent resource for staff who are looking to become more familiar with a particular CBX feature or tool.
It’s Me 247 Reference Resources

Reference materials related to It’s Me 247 Online, Mobile, and Text Banking. The page also includes documentation on related products such as eStatements, online membership applications, and the various online bill pay options that CU*NorthWest offers.
CU*BASE Online Help

One of the most widely used training resources offered to CU*NorthWest clients, this robust and comprehensive online help system includes a topic that corresponds to each of the thousands of screens that make up CBX. This library of CBX-related information helps clients become power users of CBX.
It’s Me 247 Online Help

Designed for members using It’s Me 247 Online Banking, this resource is also helpful to credit union staff seeking to gain a deeper knowledge of online banking. It’s Me 247 online help includes a section of frequently asked questions about It’s Me 247 as well as tips for completing various tasks within online banking such as opening a new account, personalizing online banking pages, and adding security features to online banking.
Show Me the Steps

This how-to help system provides simple step-by-step instructions to help clients complete various tasks in CBX. It also includes an extensive video library with close to 200 video tutorials for those who learn best by seeing the software in action.
OnDemand

Providing access to hundreds of videos, the OnDemand site is the main repository for videos on CBX and related products and services. The site includes CBX how-to videos, release training webinar recordings, online banking tutorials, client and member marketing videos, training event videos, and more!

2025 TAX HANDLING SCHEDULE FOR CU*NORTHWEST CREDIT UNIONS
November 25, 2025:
- Deadline for updating Tax Form Handling Instructions using Tool #916. (NOTE: This setting determines how CU*NorthWest handles your 2024 tax reporting). This configuration will be locked on December 1, 2025.
December 31, 2025:
- End-of-Year processing
January 7, 2026:
- Creation of 1099/1098 Tax Forms and upload to Print Vendor
– NOTE: tax forms will be sent directly to the print vendor. It is the credit union’s responsibility to ensure that all tax information is up to date prior to the creation of this data
- Creation of 1099-R and 1099-SA data and upload to Ascensus (Ascensus deadline January 9, 2026)
– NOTE: 1099-R and 1099-SA will be sent directly to Ascensus. It is the credit union’s responsibility to ensure that all tax information is up to date prior to the creation of this data
- Creation of FMV data and upload to Ascensus (Ascensus deadline January 9, 2026)

- Creation of 1099/1098 data for submission to IRS
- Notification to credit unions to review 1099/1098 data
March 12, 2026:
- Deadline for credit union to complete review of 1099/1098 data for upload to IRS
March 16, 2026:
- Upload of 1099/1098 data to IRS (IRS deadline March 31, 2026)
April 20, 2026:
- Creation of 5498-ESA data for upload to Ascensus
- Upload of 5498-ESA data to Ascensus

May 4, 2026:
- Creation and upload of 5498/5498-SA data to Ascensus

- NOTE: This applies only to credit unions who are self-administered. Please notify Cathy Green if you need your 5498 data sent out to the print vendor prior to this date. You will also need to make sure that your print vendor can print these forms prior to submission.
