Arriving with CU*BASE 22.10: Encryption for Experian Data

ATTENTION ONLINE CREDIT UNIONS

Your credit union has been identified as using Experian as your primary or secondary credit bureau.  With the 22.10 release of CU*BASE GOLD, we will be implementing a project which will see changes to how credit union data pulled from Experian is stored within CU*BASE.  The following data will be encrypted and protected when stored in CU*BASE credit report tables:

  • Credit score
  • Employment Information
  • Debt Information
  • SSN/TIN
  • Text file of the entire credit report

For more details, click the button below to review the 22.10 Release Summary.

We will be enabling encryption for your Experian credit data on 10/09/2022.

As detailed in the release summary, we do not expect that you will notice anything different in your day-to-day work, but we did want you to be aware of the timing.  We appreciate your continued partnership and your patience as we work on this change to support your chosen vendor.
