As you’ve likely heard by now, Magic-Wrighter recently became SWIVEL! We’ve been in close contact with SWIVEL as they outline their timeline to transition our mutual LoanPay Xpress clients to the new SWIVEL Pay system. We wanted to make you aware of what we know so far.
While we don’t anticipate needing to change the daily file transmissions we do on your behalf, the change from LoanPay Xpress (LPX) to SWIVEL Pay will involve some differences in the member online experience, as well as other changes that SWIVEL will need to discuss with your credit union.
SWIVEL will conduct this transition in two phases; in the first phase, SWIVEL will migrate only credit unions utilizing LoanPay Xpress (LPX) through the standalone link on their website. Financial institutions leveraging the LoanPay API Integration (LAPI) through their online banking platforms will be transitioned in the second phase and will be notified separately.
SWIVEL anticipates contacting our mutual clients who use LPX within the next couple of weeks with further details, instructions, and information on the project between your credit union and SWIVEL.
