ATTENTION ONLINE CREDIT UNIONS
As of this morning, January 4th, we have implemented a change which added a GL clearing account for each credit union in the CU*Answers network. The general ledger that has been added is 870.66 and has been designated for ITM Processing Suspense.
This GL account is a standard suspense account used by CU*BASE for clearing purposes similar to 870.01 for teller and 870.07 for transfers. Your credit union may see this new GL on your chart of accounts. The GL should be retained even if you are not currently using ITM Processing, as the GL needs to be reserved specifically for this purpose.
